Originally from Chicago, Kerry now lives in New Jersey. While working as an advertising producer, she worked with many young film directors who inspired her to get an MFA in Screenwriting at Columbia University. While there, Kerry wrote five feature screenplays and directed a short narrative film in Bangkok. Kerry received her MFA in Creative Writing at Southern New Hampshire University. She recently published her first novel, Bangkok Love: A Novel, on Amazon.

Every summer, she visits her husband’s family in Thailand. While in Thailand, she stops over in Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore. These travels across Asia have expanded her world view. She hopes to draw readers in by creating rich characters from around the world.
